Shanty Community was on Fire: 70 Families were Affected

According to Deputy Fire Marshal Jose Waling of the Bureau of Fire Protection- Manila, early Friday morning, there was a fire in a shanty community near the City Park and 70 families were affected.

The fire started in a shanty house of a family with three kids. There was no electricity in the area due to a power shortage. The father of the family left a lit candle unattended before going to his night work, leaving his three kids and their mother alone in the room. A neighbor who was up late watching TV smelled the smoke and started to scream which alerted nearby houses, so they called the nearby fire station immediately.

It took about 4 hours and 20 minutes before the firefighters totally clear the fire. Victims were brought to La Loma Hospital. And because the houses in the community are made only of light materials, the damage of property was estimated at Php 5,000,000 so the 70 affected families don't know where to live and start their simple lives again.

About Me

Annyeong hasaeyo! Naerunum RONA JEAN BITON imnida, "RJ" for short. I'm studying Communication Research at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Manila and already in the third year level.

I'm just a simple student yet a bitch. Yah right, a BITCH! As in Beautiful Individual That Creates Haters :)

I love singing, dancing, and playing guitar. Music is my passion. It makes me inspired and sometimes, I can relate my life to the music.

As of now, I'm imagining myself as a Disc Jockey (DJ) on the radio. But if I will become a journalist instead of becoming a DJ someday, I'll prefer to write some news about entertainments including lifestyles of celebrities, new movies, latest fashion, etc...

Because I also love fashion, "Fashion for All Seasons" is the title of my blog. It is about your own styles in dressing up yourself that could represent your image as a human being.
In this blog, I will assure you that I will post the latest fashions for you to be in (kuno!).

Gomaweo! Saranghae <3 <3 <3! :)
